The directors of Curator UK were awarded with the Hair & Beauty Benevolent President Award at the annual HABB Ball recently.
Curator UK was established in 2005 and one of its aims was to help raise the profile and funds for HABB. To date, Curator UK receives almost 30,000 unique visitors every month and has the support of leading British hairdressers such as Anthony Mascolo, Trevor Sorbie and Tim Hartley to name a few.
Curator UK director, Mark Woolley explains “This was a great surprise which weren’t expecting! When I had the initial idea I didn’t realise how much support we’d get from the hair industry – it’s been amazing. The HABB involvement has meant that people want to get involved and help share their skills and creativity whilst also raising awareness of a great charity. The website has been a great success and we want everyone to continue providing us with their hair collections, visit the site and just help continue to raise awareness for HABB and British hairdressing.” |
